About

Hello, I'm Ben Denzinger, and I currently work as an Industrial Designer and Product Manager for the Sunscope Group of Companies in Los Angeles, California.

Inside Sunscope, I design and manage product and innovation projects with a collaborative design and sales team for various companies and individuals ranging from Fortune 500 companies to independent inventors and entrepreneurs. The global manufacturing network and overseas factory campus included in the Sunscope Group allows us to design products from initial, ethnographic research and ideation all the way through production and delivery utilizing the Design Thinking process.

While receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology, I interned for the GA Tech campus assistive technology research institute: CATEA, the original skate shoe brand Vans / Pro-Tec protective equipment, and the Industrial Design consulting firm Big Bang.

After arriving in Los Angeles from Atlanta in 2008, I explored continuing design education with Art Center at Night courses in Design Process and Sketching for Designers.

Currently, I'm completing a postgraduate, professional certificate program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University's dSchool with plans to complete a Graduate program. I'm endlessly fascinated by the cross-section of design and business, as well as the integration of design thinking into business strategy.

Additionally, I'm passionate about involvement in education and Guest Lecture about Design Thinking with USC's Iovine and Young Academy and Art Center at Night.
